Laying pipe

Another innovative product by Wedgelock is the Ripper Plough.

This patented attachment, has been designed and tested right here in New Zealand by a local contractor who had a need for a tool that could lay alkathene pipes and cables with an excavator.

The Ripper Plough has a long mole board construction and an interchangeable guide tube which allows the operator to control direction and depth very easily during the laying process. The Ripper Plough has been designed to suit excavators 12t and larger and is sold complete with guide rollers and a standard guide tube to suit.

The key to this product is the sleek geometry, and the way in which it makes it so easy to lay continuous products like alkathene. This product is a must for farming and agriculture contractors.

Excavator Rippers are fast becoming standard equipment in areas where hard rock is a problem.

With a quick change from a Bucket to a Ripper, light work is made of hard ground conditions. Wedgelock Rippers are ruggedly constructed from high tensile and medium tensile steels, and are fitted with Esco style or Cat style ripper components.
